We showed you the technique above in May to manually create thumbnails for the Lumis 3D Web Configurator.

We improved the process by creating a script to automatically create the cameras and the hierarchy needed for all the thumbnails for your configuration rules.

Simply execute the script via the “Scripting” menu. You then only need to frame the viewpoint of the cameras.
