In this video, we import the Renault Megane model into Unreal Engine, including the conversion of meshes, materials, and now Renault-specific configurations.
Thanks to the new Unreal plugin from Lumiscaphe, this process is automated and straightforward. This plugin lets developers import configured models directly from Patchwork 3D, highlighting the versatility of Patchwork 3D-enhanced models. The Renault Megane is now ready to be fine-tuned in Unreal for rendering.
We start by exporting the model from Patchwork 3D, ensuring all Renault configurations are prepared for use. The Unreal plugin then seamlessly handles the import process, ensuring that all components, including the Renault configurations, are accurately transferred.
Once imported, we demonstrate how to change configurations within Unreal using Player mode. This allows our client to test out configurations in any dimension.
This integration is ideal for creating experiences with Unreal’s specific features, adding to the multitude of product experiences already possible through our solutions, such as image, video, VR, AR, web, mobile, and kiosk.
Do you still use Unreal Engine for rendering and experience?
