We’re pleased to announce that Patchwork 3D Enterprise 2023 is officially out now.
Here is a summary of what’s new:
Lens Shift camera
Possibility to use the lens shift function in cameras to better frame the model without deforming perspective and the model’s silhouette.
Attaching a viewport to a camera
Viewports can be attached to a camera to display the camera view. The adjustments made on the camera are thus directly visible in the attached viewport. This is time-saving when setting up camera views.
List improvements
Possibility to search and filter elements in most lists like the Geometry layers, the Kinematics tree, and so on. Expand/collapse functionality in kinematics and camera trees is available too.
Kinematics tree UI improvements
The new deported window for use on secondary screens allows simultaneous manipulation of the kinematic tree and the geometrical layers. Instead of inserting only kinematic objects at the tree’s root, you can now insert them as child objects in the hierarchy.
HDR Light Studio 4.2 integration update
A new rim light brush tool has been added to Patchwork 3D to easily accentuate the silhouette of a surface and separate it from the background.
To optimize your workflow in HDR Light Studio, a Patchwork 3D rendering view is now displayed there.
