Scripting is very useful for us to make prototypes of some ideas for improvements in Patchwork 3D.

Today, we are trying to make it easier to create materials, using presets, and simplifying assignments of textures.
The idea: just choose a template material and select a set of textures with appropriate naming on your disk.

The script does the rest!

You can of course edit the resulting material to tune it as usual.

Do you think this kind of tool could be helpful for you? Do you have an idea to improve it even further?
